Château du Breuil produces calvados from the highly regarded French 'AOC Pays d’Auge' appellation. 

Unlike Calvados "AOC", Calvados with the AOC "Pays d'Auge" requires cider apples produced in the Pays d'Auge area and a double distillation. It makes a finer Calvados, due to the quality of apples produced by the local soil, and to the elimination of the roughest parts of the alcohol during the distillations.

This Calvados has aged a minimum of 12 years in the oak casks of Château du Breuil, under the attentive care of the Cellar Master.  It is characterized by an exceptional roundness that let aromas of apple, wood and almond express all their intensify in a refined and complex blend. It is a very well-balanced Calvados, a perfect harmony between the fruit and the wood.
