This red wine is a blend of the finest Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and a small percentage of Carmenere grapes. Each express the unique terroir of one of the estate’s very best vineyards.
- An intense ruby wine in colour, the Poggio alle Nane has a spicy nose with notes of balsamic, cloves, coffee and liquorice accompanied by ripe, dark plum and blackcurrant fruit. There is also an alluring hint of mint in the background
- On the palate, Poggio Alle Nane is both rich and elegant, with vibrant tannins
- Flavours of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and blackcurrant linger on the finish
