Glenfarclas 20 Year Old Port Pipe Limited Edition Whisky In Glencairn Decanter 

A five-part series hand selected by the Director of Pol Roger Portfolio, Peter Donnelly which aims to celebrate the rich tradition and heritage of the Grant family who have owned Glenfarclas distillery for five generations. Each release in this limited-edition series will be presented in a crystal Glencairn decanter.

For the second release in the series Peter has chosen to showcase Glenfarclas’ innovation by selecting a cask type that has not been used by Glenfarclas for decades. In the 1960s, under the stewardship of fourth generation George Grant, the distillery experimented with different types of casks to arrive at a distinctive Glenfarclas style. Trying samples of Oloroso, Madeira, Port, and others before finalising on Oloroso Sherry casks and using these exclusively to this day.

This 20-year-old single malt has been matured in one of these Port pipes making it a real rarity from Glenfarclas. You can expect all the hallmark Glenfarclas flavour profiles of dried fruits, honey, and subtle oak along with ripe red fruits, hints of citrus and an extremely well balance finish.

Bottled at a cask strength of 50.5% with only 600 bottles available Worldwide.
