Lancashire Mead Company Rhubarb Mead

The second flavour to come from the mind of Mrs Mead. Born from a conversation about limoncello and other ‘sharp’ fruits. This beautiful Lancashire Mead Company Rhubarb Mead is lovingly made.

• Gentle fruit sharpness and flavour, yet not detracting from the sweetness of the honey
• Made using 100% raw honey
• Using the best rhubarb concentrate from 100% fresh cut rhubarb

It has pure rhubarb concentrate added after the fermentation process. This gives it a nice rhubarb flavour with a slightly sharp edge.  Suitable for those who like fruity drinks but still want to taste the mead or prefer their mead not quite so sweet.

Pair this Lancashire Mead with blue cheese and terrines, as well as ice cream and fruit-based desserts.

As this is a natural product, some hazing and sedimentation is likely to occur. Leave to settle in a cool, dark place and pour carefully. This a natural part of the maturation process and is not harmful to consumer or product. In fact, it will taste even better for it and it is why we use a decanter style bottle.
