Ceretto was founded in the 1930s by Riccardo Ceretto. Specialising in estate-bottled, single-vineyard wines, Ceretto have firmly established themselves as one of Piedmont's leading wine producers.
This red wine has lots of ripe, focused fruit with dried-strawberry, floral and spice aromas. Hints of crushed stones. It is medium-to full-bodied with a balance of ripe tannins and a savoury finish.
The 2016 Ceretto Barolo Bussia is packed with tannin and acidity, allowing to pair with flavourful dishes such as rib eye steak, cottage pie, veal chops, venison stew, truffle risotto, and mushroom pie. Drink 2024-2036.
