The world’s first single barrel bourbon was crafted in 1984 by Blanton’s founder, Colonel Albert B. Blanton. Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel was the third single barrel release following on from the Blanton’s Single Barrel and Blanton’s Gold. The 2023 release of this extremely limited edition is from cask number 604 and bottled at a cask strength of 62.9% delivering notes of dark chocolate, caramel and hazelnuts on the nose. The palate opens up with vanilla, more toasted nuts and a rice spiciness.
