An independent bottling from an undisclosed distillery in Speyside – we will let you do your detective work to find which distillery – with an incredibly rich, bold flavour profile owing to the use of a wormtub. A wormtub condenser is a more traditional way of turning spirit vapour back into liquid. Only a handle of distilleries still uses a wormtub while distillation.
Aged for 10 years before being finished in Sherry casks this single malt scotch whisky displays powerful notes of citrus, spice and honey on the nose leading into a palate full of dark chocolate, more stewed fruits and caramel. The finish as you’d expect with the rich, complex single malt is exceptionally long with subtle spice and toasted oak.
