Waterford Hook Head 1.1 Irish Whisky.

Waterford Hook Head 1.1 is the first release from the 2015 Hook Head farm harvest, with barley grown in extreme maritime conditions, creating a unique profile. Made entirely from Irish Propino malted barley which has been grown by Martin Foley, the whisky has been aged for over 3 years and 8 months in multiple cask types including first-fill, virgin US and French Oak. A rich texture with notes of earthy maltiness, salted caramel, citrus peel, clove, white pepper, ginger biscuits and a slight touch of salted popcorn with a long and oily finish.

Long fermentation and slow double distillation creates and impactful flavour, and the texture is maximised by no chill filtration or additional colouring.
