The Tullibardine Whisky Distillery is in the village of Blackford in Perthshire, gateway to the Scottish Highlands. For decades, this family owned distillery has produced handcrafted single malt scotch whisky.

Distilled in 2005, The Murray Double Wood is aged in first fill bourbon casks before being transferred into first fill sherry casks for a second period of maturation. A delicious combination of bourbon creaminess paired with sherried spices.

On the nose, a delightful, rich honey sweetness is layered upon vanilla ice cream, with hints of dark chocolate and dried figs. This is followed by subtle sherry aromas, combined with citrus and peaches, and a delicate oaky fragrance. To taste, gentle notes of honey, sherried fruit and cinnamon, with hints of espresso and fresh strawberries and cream. The softly spiced sherry flavours linger on the tongue to create a smooth and exceptional finish.
