After years of searching for the purest natural water in Scotland, they discovered the Ballantruan Spring. For millions of years this water has been flowing through the mountainside near Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands. In the heart of the Speyside Glenlivet region, the Tomintoul distillery was built to capture this unique resource. Inspired by tradition, the Master Distller, Robert Fleming, has produced a single malt of unique quality, which is invitingly smooth and mellow.
This Single Malt holds aromas of citrus and honey tones with a whiff of mountain heather. The palate is rounded with an approachable creamy sweetness balanced with a gentle oaky spice. The finish is a surge of sweetness pursued by a tingling spice.
