Scratch Patience British Rum
A British rum made from Scratch in Hertfordshire. Scratch Patience British Rum was double distilled, with the rum matured in whisky casks between distillations and then transferred to ex-bourbon casks and new oak casks, where it was aged for three and two years respectively. This was then blended to create Patience Rum.
Aromas of toffee, rich fudge, and vanilla. On the palate, a gorgeous mix of sweet and spice from the use of two different barrel-types. A long and sumptuous finish.
Scratch Patience Rum was awarded 86 points and secured a bronze medal from the International Wine and Spirit Competition, the first time a British rum has been recognised in the aged category.
