Pussers 50th Anniversary Rum 70cl 54.5% ABV
Pusser’s have created this special blend, to be bottled in very limited numbers, to commemorate 50 years since Black Tot Day. At 6 bells in the Forenoon Watch on 31 July 1970, the 230 year-old tradition of the Royal Navy’s daily rum ration came to an end. A maximum of 3,000 bottles will be produced. It is a blend of Trinidad and Guyana rum with a heavy proportion of Port Mourant wooden pot still rum - a specification last used by ED F Mann who supplied rum to the Royal Navy, and is the last batch ever created at West Indies Rum Distillery, Barbados, in 2015.
