The 2016 growing season was challenging, with severe spring frost and heavy rainfall followed by a hot, dry summer. Despite the difficult conditions, the Pinot Noir and Meunier harvested that year were exceptional, providing the backbone for this distinctive vintage Champagne.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe blend comprises 43% Pinot Noir, 42% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier, with 13% of the Pinot Noir coming from still red wine. It spent at least six years ageing in the cellars, followed by a minimum of six months after disgorgement.
