A fantastic Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from MB Roland produced using local white corn and a touch of rye and malted barley.
Bottled at distillation and barrel proofed in the style of a Pre Prohibition Bourbon, the result is a unique, full-flavoured whiskey that comes in at 55.5% ABV.
Dark amber in colour. On the nose, think honeycomb and butterscotch with lemon curd and strawberries, alongside oak and toasted corn. On the palate, think toasted corn and caramel with brown sugar and banana, together with a hint of spice. The finish is long and warming, with plenty of vanilla and buttery caramel.
