The nose is dominated by dark, brooding chocolate notes, incense and cherries and the palate is well defined and very textural. Dark chocolate notes with cherries and exotic spices carry over beautifully from the nose. The fine French oak gives a lingering and satisfying finish. “95+ points. Deep garnet-purple in color, redolent of blueberry preserves, macerated black fruits, cassis and aniseed with a touch of Provencal herbs and mint. A more restrained, elegant style of wine that should age wonderfully.” - Lisa Perrotti-Brown M.W.
