A powerful and dry South Australian Riesling from one of the world's best Riesling producers.
This white wine is a spectacular vintage, with layer upon layer of powerful lime juice aromatics against a backdrop of enticing florals. The palate is intense with lime pith flavours, and a crisp, bone-dry finish that lingers.
Perfect paired with oysters, sushi, salmon, tuna, Asian dishes, and chicken. Drinking beautifully now but will cellar for several years to come.
Grosset Polish Hill Riesling is made from the twenty-acre estate-owned Polish Hill Vineyard and is certified organic and biodynamic. It is a hard rock site, where the vines struggle to draw nutrients from the soil, so the bunches and berries are small, and the fruit flavours lingering. There are three clones of Riesling, two German and one rare local clone, which produce an average of just two bottles of wine per vine.
