Chateau Musar Jeune Rose 2017 75cl 12.5% ABV
This is a dry, lighter-coloured, serious Rosé, best enjoyed with food. Smooth and rounded, it has raspberry, almond and red appleskin aromas and a warm finish. Musar Jeune Rosé is made of ‘saignée’ (‘bled’) method and pressing method using pink juice removed from Cinsault and mourvedre grape must, fermented in cement-lined vats and released unoaked a year after the harvest.
Salmon pink in colour with raspberry and red fruit notes on the nose and palate - herby, savoury undertones, particularly tarragon infuse this well balanced wine. Good medium-intensity fruit tempered with a balanced mix of crisp acidity and a long smooth finish.
