This is the little brother of Chteau de Pez. Blend of 41% Cabernet Sauvignon and 59% Merlot and a clear, purple ruby colour. The nose is fruity and spicy, fresh on the attack, and then evolves on a powerful structure, caused by fine, ripe tannins. Nice balance where the fruit and spices dominate and a great finish with a velvety, fleshy mouth.
With supple, firm tannins, this wine has the austerity of the vintage but the flavours are soft and round with no harshness or rough edges.
