A wine all about regeneration. Produced from a poorly farmed Grenache which was brought back to life by the Alpha Box & Dice "crew".
The nose entices you in with aromas of strawberries and cream, red fruits and savoury spices. The palate is juicy and upfront bursting with red fruit flavours. . Grapes are picked from the Reedy Creek Vineyard in Whites Valley, a 100% McLaren Vale region with red clay soil that gives the wine a pretty perfume and delicate tannins. Through 10% whole bunch fermentation and two weeks on skins, with six months maturation in 100% stainless steel with weekly lees stirring, the energy and nerve of the wine is retained and a sense of varietal chiaroscuro is apparent. The contrast between light and dark, detailed and enchanting.
