During the Hereford Wine Festival, we will be holding masterclasses which are available to book onto. There are two different classes to choose from and they will both be available in the afternoon and evening session so don’t worry, you won’t miss out whichever session you come to.
These are the perfect way to learn a little more about wine in a small, tutored class with a representative from one of the Secret Bottle Shop’s top suppliers.
In order to book onto a masterclass, you can select the one you wish to attend from the drop-down menu when you are purchasing either your afternoon or your evening tasting ticket here
If you’re really into your wines and you wish to attend both masterclasses, we will be more than happy to welcome you to both! Please contact us if this is the case and we can certainly arrange that for you.

Organic and Biodynamic Wines Masterclass – Hosted by Louis Latour

Afternoon Session 2:00pm – 2:30pm
Evening Session 7:00pm – 7:30pm
Organic and biodynamic wines have attracted a lot of attention in recent years and are certainly on the rise with an average annual growth in sales of about 20%. Conscious that these wines are growing in popularity and attracting interest, we are putting the spotlight on a couple of producers represented by Louis Latour in order to explain how and why they focus on creating these wines.
You will taste wines from Seresin Estate in Marlborough, New Zealand who pride themselves on fully embracing the principles of organics and biodynamics in their viticulture and winemaking.
You will also taste some from McHenry Hohnen in the Margaret River, Australia who create wines that have a pure reflection of the land by using organic and biodynamic farming techniques.
