This medium-bodied red from Sicily’s Etna DOC is made from 100% Nerello Mascalese grown on volcanic soils at high altitude. It’s savoury, fresh and mineral-driven, with fine tannins and bright acidity. Aged for 12 months in large Slavonian oak casks, it reflects the purity and elegance of Etna’s terroir.
Tasca d’Almerita is a certified B Corp and member of Sostain, committed to sustainable viticulture. The Ghiaia Nera is produced from vineyards on the northern slope of Mount Etna, including Contrada Sciaranuova and Rampante.
