This white Burgundy is made from Chardonnay grown in the Premier Cru vineyard of La Maltroie in Chassagne-Montrachet. Caroline Lestime is one of Burgundy’s rising stars, having launched her own label in 2016 while still making wine at Domaine Jean-Noel Gagnard.
Based in Chassagne-Montrachet, she sources grapes from small parcels and vinifies each separately to preserve their individual terroir. This wine is barrel-fermented and aged on lees with minimal batonnage. It is elegant, expressive and built to age.
